NEW RELEASE

Desert Rosé
Light Red 2009
Block 45 Paddy’s
Red 2008
Chaffers
Shiraz 2009
Tasting note: The delightful aroma of freshly picked garden strawberries, and the luscious peach and citrus flavours that are woven through the palate are followed by a crisp, tangy finish.
An adaptable style of wine so try it with barbeques, luncheon food, subtle pasta dishes or grilled seafood.
Drink: now
Tasting note: This succulent, ripe Shiraz Cabernet blend opens with blackberry, plum, dark cherry and vanilla aromas. It's beautifully rounded and supple in the mouth, with moreish, vibrant red berry flavours cloaked in choc-vanilla richness.
Drink:
now-2018
Tasting note: Supremely supple with intense blackberry/plum fruit and liberal dusting of exotic spice. It's big and flavoursome but shows that great Margaret River trait: exceptional poise and balance.

Hannans
Cabernet Sauvignon 2008
Fimiston Reserve
Shiraz 2007
Ivanhoe Reserve
Cabernet Sauvignon 2006
Tasting note: This is a solid, ripe cabernet with a bouquet of deep blackcurrant, chocolatey vanillin oak and some savoury, cured-meat undertones. The palate reveals dark berry, plum, mocha and leather notes surrounded by fine, powdery drying tannins.
Drink: now-2019
Tasting note: Half of the Fimiston ages for 18 months in new French oak barrels with the other half in one and two year old barrels, ensuring smooth integration of oak characters with the spicy, syrupy blackberry and dark cherry flavours.
Drink: now-2017
Tasting note: This powerful, muscular wine is a great example of just how well Brown Hill reds age. Three years on and it’s still shimmering with layers of exuberant, ripe berry fruit supported by silky smooth tannins. I recommend tasting it alongside the ’07 Ivanhoe.

Cabernet Sauvignon 2007
Croesus
Reserve Merlot 2008
Bill Bailey
Shiraz Cabernet 2008
Tasting note: Refined and complex with rich cassis blackcurrant liqueur-like scents and some lifted toasty vanillin notes. Superfine tannins on the dry, savoury palate carry flavours of blackcurrant, plums and rhubarb.
Drink: now-2016
Tasting note: This has serious bouquet of brooding fruit with lifted vanilla and perfumed, cedar/spice hints in the background. It's soft and supple in the mouth - just how Merlot should be - with juicy damson plum flavours and a fine line of integrated toastiness.
Drink: now-2019
Tasting note: Incredibly rich with heady aromas of spicy, deep, dark blackberry and blueberry, plum and vanilla. The palate is massive and mouth filling, with ultra-smooth choc-berry fruit, dark spice characters and a warm, lingering aftertaste.

“The reserve range which sells for between $25-$30 is exceptional value for price. These are quality wines that could be selling for a heck of a lot more."
